17/07/2018 -The Minister of Infrastructures and Transport Danilo Toninelli, through the statement of the Undersecretary of State Michele Dell'Orco, confirmed in the Unified Conference with the Regions the total allocation of € 361.78 million for the creation of the national system of tourist cycling tracks, an infrastructure which promotes "soft" mobility and creates a further attraction linked to pedaling and sustainable tourism.

A reality made of hundreds of kilometers of cycle paths: from the Grab (the great cycling  route) of Rome, to the Ciclovie del Sole e del Vento (Verona-Florence and Venice-Turin); from the cycling  route of the Apulian Aqueduct to those of Garda, Sardinia and Magna Graecia; and then the Tirrenica cycling e route, the Adriatica cycling path and the Trieste-Lignano Sabbiadoro-Venezia line.

An important investment for the economic destiny of many areas of this Country: finally, it focuses on works in perfect symbiosis with the surrounding territory, on sustainable mobility and in particular the cycling also realized to promote tourism in the area that will certainly lead to jobs and economic opportunities for the territories crossed by the cycling routes.
