7 November 2017 – The Bilateral Meeting between the Minister of Infrastructures and Transport, Graziano Delrio, and the Minister of Planning, Development and Management of Brazil, Dyogo Henrique de Oliveira was held today.
The Meeting focused on the bilateral cooperation in Transport and Infrastructure sectors, including the privatization program launched by the Brazilian Government. Minister de Oliveira introduced the key targets of the Plan with a strategic long-term vision, as well as the new framework of governance and public-private partnership.
Minister Delrio expressed his satisfaction with the results reached by the bilateral Working Group on Infrastructures, coordinated by the Italian Embassy in Brasilia and by the Brazilian Ministry of Economic Planning, which was established in order to identify and select concrete possibilities of collaboration and participation in the infrastructure projects with the Italian Companies. “We have a good cooperation, that we hope will be enhanced , focusing on projects of public interest”, Minister Delrio stated.
Minister Delrio, who similarly introduced the planning and programming strategy on the structural reforms adopted by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport “Connecting Italy”, gave the floor to the Italian Delegation and highlighted the projects of Anas, FS and main Italian companies, with the key purpose of enhancing a positive cooperation.
